I didn't have much auction money, but I ended up getting my targets cheaper than I thought, so I spent and landed Severino. Sale went for a couple bucks more, so I'm happy with Severino. He is younger and I suspect he ends up back a little earlier than Sale.
I also landed Archer for a buck at the end, after Taillon went for $3. I am not sure he is worth holding at all, but this was my plan when my league decided to add 3 extra IL spots this year for COVID--I knew I culd simply add who I wanted for $1 after the auction, as we are able to pick up guys to replace IL guys right after on a first come first served basis. I was able to pick up Ryan Weber and Colin McHugh right after the auction and move them both to the IL. The Red Sox rotation sucks so bad, I'm hoping both stick in the rotation and do something decent.
