Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? would've been my next pick.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

whew! I timed that one well ...
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

        Yeah me too.

        • I was wavering between two foreign language films for my next pick and La Dolce Vita was one of them. Hopefully the other one makes it to me.

          • Oooh Ball of Fire! Great pick. As I mentioned earlier, I'm a big fan of Stanwyck.

It's my favorite of all the screwball comedies. And Stanwyck, despite a very different role from Double Indemnity, is just as charming.

We settled on 10...it seems like most people will want to do more, but my list is already almost exhausted so I'm probably out for extra rounds.

some wanted 10, but some people wanted 12 ... and some felt they should have a right to grieve any decisions ... and then there's the Designated Substiution pick ... wait a minute, I think I'm getting confused ...

                          I'm out!

On an unrelated note, how does Sunset Boulevard last until round 7?!
"All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close up."
"Igor, would you give me a hand with the bags?"
"Certainly. You take the blonde and I'll take the one in the turban!"

I'm going to have to make some hard decisions in the last few rounds. I still have 6 or 7 more movies I want on my list. Well, maybe some of you will make my choices for me.

                            • I was going to pick Sunset Blvd almost every round, but decided to forgo another film noir. One of my all time favorites.

                              Love the monkey burial scene.

I also wondered how the Third Man lasted so long.

Agreed. Fantastic movie. That was on my list, but I couldn't pass up having a clean pair of spats.
