    Stopping By

Haven't been here in a long time. Was a regular for a couple of years, up till a little after we swapped servers and all that. (Never did get my correct post number ported over.)

Skimming threads and happy to see so many familiar names still around. I think I'll lurk for a bit.

Spend a lot of time on Reddit these days but it's so anonymous. I enjoy the discourse here.

What I wish we had was a directory of all the long-timers. Name, city, approx. age, 2-3 defining traits. That would be handy.

I'm 49. Still live in Austin. Still an A's fan. Still work with the Old 97's. Got one kid at Alabama and one about to start at Utah.

Anyway I hope you're all doing well.

(title was a Jason Isbell reference, if you're a fan. And you should be! ;])

If I whisper my wicked marching orders into the ether with no regard to where or how they may bear fruit, I am blameless should a broken spirit carry those orders out upon the innocent, for it was not my hand that took the action merely my lips which let slip their darkest wish. ~Daniel Devereaux 2011

If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.
