Caught a 22.5 inch Walleye yesterday. This was my first walleye on the Illinois Chain O Lakes using the tricks my wife and I learned from a guide about a month ago. All our first time out since that trip.
Illinois uses a slotting system for keeping walleyes.
14" to just under 18" can keep.
Over 18" to 24" cannot keep.
anything over 24" can keep one
So mine was to big to keep and not big enough to keep.Comment
