Unfortunately, our league no longer has the "Draft Room" option so I cant go into it now to check. Thanx for the feedback.
U can probably enter mock draft or auction. If u do it again next year would be good to do that first

The "next" option is on the bottom of the player list. It also allows you to go back with a "previous" link. One weird glitch is that you have to scroll back to the top of the page when you go forward...

That's a weird place to put this option. No wonder I didnt see it. The sensible place to put it is at the top.

Sources: MLB and union are re-engaging on the possibility of expanded playoffs for this season. Has to be done before first pitch 25 hours from now, but there seems to be optimism. Hope was to go from 10 playoff teams to 16.

I wonder if the Blue Jays are eligible for one of the spots? No rush for them apparently.

According to ESPN's Marly Rivera, the MLBPA has agreed to a proposal for expanded playoffs in 2020.

OK I'm walking this one wayyyy back.

I did one last draft last night (with @Frae)

We set it up to do an auction followed by a snake draft for the reserve (since that was literally one of the settings you could choose).

The reserve was a nightmare. Half the time it thought it was still in auction mode and wouldn't let the person on the clock draft. If I refreshed the draft page, it was a coinflip, half the time it was in draft mode, and half the time it was stuck in the auction. Nightmare! If they haven't tested out this functionality they should not make it an option, as @Frae suggested we would have just given everyone $267 and told them to use the extra $ for their bench. Lesson learned, but dang, cbs, do better!

                  • Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred told union head Tony Clark on Friday that the league could be forced to shut down the season due to COVID-19 if infections continue to rise over the coming days, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan. The belief is that this weekend will go a long way in determining the viability of the 60-game season, Passan noted, with local health officials being "troubled by the lack of mask wearing, high-fiving and spitting by players."

Passan notes that players who were briefed on the call between Manfred and Clark believe the season could be halted as soon as Monday.

It's aggravating that they spent 4 months bickering about how much money they needed to make, and not about the health protocols needed to keep everything running smoothly.

                      • casinos in the Northeast, at least, are a lot safer than your local Wal-Mart - by plenty.

mandatory temperature check on every visitor. maximum capacity is 25 pct. no smoking, no alcohol, no dining beyond a snack or soft drink.

plexiglass separates all players from each other and the dealer in table games.

half the slot machines are shuttered, often with the seats removed, so no one can be closer than 6 feet apart.

security watches for mask slippage like hawks - if your mask drops below your nose for a moment, you'll hear about it.

                            • No surprise there. I do wonder this---was it players doing stupid things or is there a travel issue? Both teams in trouble were on road trips. If it is airports, why can't MLB work out a deal where the bus goes to the tarmac and they just board? Avoid the terminal completely. It is all chartered flights and there is no international travel. If it is just players being stupid, well, that bodes very poorly for all sports in the future---good luck policing 90 players on an NFL roster. And college kids? Lol.
