Biden was arguably the most moderate candidate so if he's a "dumpster fire" than none of the candidates would've been better in your view than Trump. Or please correct me if there is another candidate you'd have preferred to Trump. If not, then there's simply no other rational explanation other than YOU LIKE HIM. Well put. Trump has basically combined every bad event of the last 100 years in his first term. Yet many on the right STILL see him as the lesser of two evils over a moderate, centrist Democrat with about as many friends and ties to the GOP side as you can possibly hope for or want from a candidate from the party you oppose. Any self-proclaimed Trump hater that was lamenting "if only the left would put forth a moderate instead of a socialist, I could give up supporting Trump" who is now backpedaling was obviously always lying, and would never, ever, vote for any candidate, under any circumstances, with a D by his name. I sincerely cannot think of a better opportunity for a Republican to vote against his party that against Trump in 2020.

Biden ain't perfect, to be sure, but he was and still is the least far from the ideals of a conservative among the Democratic contenders. There is no excuse for any conservative who recognizes who Donald Trump is to vote for him in this election.
