It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

For every Rush song vetoed, I will nominate two more!
I’m trying to trade my first round pick for 20 vetoes.

        Rush sucks, Mith.

And in the immortal words of the greatest comic strip evah - Let’s crank this sucker up!!

In, but not sure on the rules. How about a Restatement?

Posted rules on the start thread.

You are the pick before me so I expect not to get many of my songs (like in our past music drafts).

So just to clarify, we are just pick whatever songs that we think are good and worthy of being on a Top 1000 list of rock classics ... in any particular order, and with any set of criteria that matters to each of us?

I'm going with a list based on a balance between (a) what I like/prefer/would-still-listen-to, and (b) what should be on a list like this regardless of my prejudices/tastes.

So even if I really really like a particular song, if no-one else would ever likely pick it, I probably won't.

Apparently Trana doesn't agree with this mindset !

Gotta admit, if you told me you were taking a Clash tune, I'd have come up with about a dozen or so others in front of that one.
