Drink an entire bottle of soju and you will understand

Nully is neither Null (nor) zero. Null and Zero are not the same.

        Coalesce(Null, 0) is zero though.

          Paradox?

Zero is an even number. Null is absence.

Is Coalesce a band aid to move on?

I am seriously under educated on this topic. I was just taking a shot at the name Nullnor.

You could pretty much say anything moving ahead and I would believe you. It is interesting though.

            Nullnor Exists Even in Absence.

Just a database developer joke. Coalesce just looks through a list and gives you the first non-null value in the list.

Transact-SQL reference for COALESCE, which returns the value of the first expression that does not evaluate to NULL.

I bet if I understood that it would be a nicely played.

I actually read that and sort of get it. But it reminds me of the old Bill Cosby joke- 2+2=4 RIGHT!! Whats a 2?
