Jeurys Familia lost 30 pounds in the offseason.

if Edwin Diaz is right that he found out he was tipping pitches last year (Bugs Bunny K rate and many strong peripherals, but all-time record 15 9th-inning HR allowed), he might be a big bounceback. and Betances claims he'll be ready for Opening Day for the Mets.

but in a deep-enough NL league.....
finished 10th in this 37th yr in 11-team-only NL 5x5
    own picks 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 in April 2022 1st-rd farmhand draft
    won in 2017 15 07 05 04 02 93 90 84

    SP SGray 16, TWalker 10, AWood 10, Price 3, KH Kim 2, Corbin 10
    RP Bednar 10, Bender 10, Graterol 2
    C Stallings 2, Casali 1
    1B Votto 10, 3B ERios 2, 1B Zimmerman 2, 2S Chisholm 5, 2B Hoerner 5, 2B Solano 2, 2B LGarcia 10, SS Gregorius 17

So, you are saying that Jacob DeGrom might win more than 11 game?!

He’ll win more than eleven games...but now someone else will win the Cy Young.

Pirates officially named Kela their closer, not that there was any doubt. Someone's gotta save those 57 wins.

And most of those wins should be by 3 runs or less. Kela is also likely to be dealt at the trade deadline. So, i wouldn't overpay.

Who do we think is the Braves' closer? Will Smith? Melancon? Job share?

I'm playing it as a jobshare until we know better.

Everyone here in Atlanta says Smith is the closer. Every single Braves fan Ive talked to says they didnt go out and sign Smith to make him a setup man. Personally, I can see them using Smith in the "right spot" role vs. the closer role.

Melancon first 3 weeks. Smith rest of season.

To the surprise of no one, manager Gable Kapler said the Giants would use a closer committee to start the season.

We're getting to the late stages of a slow draft in a S+H league. Who among the under 28 crowd do you like in the bullpen, this hear and next?

How old is Rafael Montero? Seems like he's pretty entrenched in TX.

James Karinchak in CLE is the obvious guy, as well as the young Padres (Munoz and Castillo)

Scott Barlow in KC if you think the Royals will ever be good again.

Lorenzen could be really good in CIN.

Lorenzon was first one to come to my mind. Knebel for the Brewers if you can wait until May. Wick for the Cubs. Diego Castillo or Alvarez for the Rays.

I agree with Wick and Lorenzen.

                                Three more:
*Kyle Crick could end up being better than Kela
*Ryan Helsley throws really hard and is already a darkhorse closer for STL
*Ryne Stanek is a sneaky option in Miami
