New York Giants kicker Aldrick Rosas was arrested on Monday morning following a hit-and-run incident in Chico, California. This was confirmed to NFL.com by the California Highway Patrol. According to the report, Rosas was driving at around 100 mph when he collided with another vehicle at an intersection and then attempted to flee the scene. He was located by a CHP officer soon after and arrested on charges of misdemeanor hit-and-run and driving on a suspended license. Alcohol is "believed to [have been] a factor" in the incident as well. The Giants released a statement, saying, "We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Aldrick. We have no further comment at this time." Rosas has kicked for the Giants for the past three seasons, but may face league discipline besides legal discipline before the season begins.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller

            And Washington just released him.

Apparently he assaulted the woman 3 different times at his home in February, March, and April. He's been charged with one count of felony strangulation, 3 counts of assault and battery, and 1 count of destruction of property. That explains why Washington released him so fast. He's probably looking at some serious jail time for this.

The gossip site reports Baker is facing four charges of armed robbery and four charges of aggravated assault with a firearm following two alleged incidents in Miramar, Fla. It is the same for Dunbar, minus the assault charges. Baker is alleged to have "whipped out a semi-automatic firearm" before he and Dunbar "began to rob party guests, taking watches and other valuables at the direction of Baker." Baker is also alleged to have asked a third man to shoot someone. No shooting took place, however. The duo allegedly departed with "$7,000 in cash and valuable watches including an $18,000 Rolex watch, a $25,000 Hublot and a pricey Audemars Piguet timepiece."

One witness told cops they had met Baker and Dunbar at a party a few days earlier in Miami -- at which the NFL players had "lost" around $70,000.

Our sources tell us the men had "lost" the money in high-stakes card games and other forms of gambling.
NY Daily News' Pat Leonard reports Giants CB Deandre Baker was charged with four counts of robbery with a firearm.

The punishment for robbery with a firearm is a mandatory minimum of 10 years and up to life in state prison. Currently on the Commissioner's Exempt List awaiting a decision, 22-year-old Baker will presumably be released by the Giants in a matter of hours. Oddly enough, prosecutors are actually declining to charge Quinton Dunbar, whose lawyer was accused of paying off witnesses at the crime, due to insufficient evidence. The Giants have yet to comment.

ESPN's Field Yates reports Titans OT Isaiah Wilson was arrested for DUI.

It's the latest in a downward trend for Wilson, who had an off-field situation in August and was placed on the COVID-19 list for the second time last week. Wilson is subject to a suspension, but that likely won't come this year. The Titans have RT Dennis Kelly as their Week 1 starter opposite Taylor Lewan.

Baker has been waived by the Giants.
