    * Higher seed advances
    Seems to me if a lower seed ties the higher seed it is the lower seed that should move on.

      Why? That's the benefit to being a higher seed and having a seeding structure.

        The highest seeds need to fend off the lower to show they belong there. If they can't do that the tie should go to the underdog. Still fun and just my opinion.

        Also who sets the seeding? Was it done with most votes for the 16 teams followed by second, third etc? Again still fun. Not complaining just my opinion.

            And a fine job he did...except for the ties.

              I feel like we've had a nice ratio of upsets, but yes the ties are unfortunate. It's also too bad we can't see who's voted.
              If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

                Ties are easy to resolve - first person who did not already vote just posts after the results as the tie breaker.

                          I don't know how Money for Nothing beat I Love Rock n' Roll. It was an iconic video and a fine song, but surprised by that landslide over an all-time great.

                            Man, these are the toughest match ups so far. Really hard picks, but ultimately, I went straight chalk. the hardest match ups were me voting against Take On Me and Come on Eileen for the first times. Love both those songs as much as the ones I chose, but Born in the USA, so iconic and the Boss needed to move on. Simple Minds is a worse music video, but the better song.
