If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

He's an awful person. Just the absolute embodiment of a Trump fan - loud, bombastic, self-aggrandizer, racist, misogynist, always punches down. I am getting a great deal of schadenfreude out of this situation. Almost like I would if Former Guy Jr. was in his situation.

      Reap the whirlwind, Mullins!

Well there you have it. Look, the system is far from perfect but I definitely support the men and women in blue. Sure, improvement in training is a must, but in general the police do their jobs. Unlike the title of this thread</p>
So which man in blue do you support in this case ?

A federal judge gave a white former St. Louis police officer less than half the prison time his own defense lawyers had asked for on Monday after he was convicted for his role in the beating of an undercover Black colleague during the 2017 racial justice protests in the city.

Dustin Boone, 37, was sentenced to one year and one day in prison for aiding and abetting the deprivation of civil rights under color of law of undercover officer Luther Hall. He was convicted in June after a nine-day trial.

On the evening of Sept. 17, 2017, Hall had been undercover when he was pinned to the ground by Boone and beaten with a baton by a third officer, Randy Hays, who both mistook Hall for a protester.

The beating left Hall, who had not violated any laws and was not resisting arrest, with permanent injuries and pain, as well as post-traumatic stress disorder. (He subsequently reached a $5 million settlement with the department.)

Prosecutors released evidence showing Boone had been "showing off" for his girlfriend by livestreaming his actions to her via a FaceTime video call.

She had texted him that viewing the footage was "SOOOOOO COOL," but after learning days later that he had assaulted a fellow officer, he wrote to her saying, "Nothing about that story to anyone please. Not something I am proud of."

Prosecutors also released text messages Boone had written to other officers prior to the beating in which he appeared to relish the opportunity to violently squash the protests.

"But it's gonna be a lot of fun beating the hell out of these shitheads once the sun goes down and nobody can tell us apart," he wrote in one message.

I mean if it was a real protestor and not an undercover policeman this would all be ok, right? Gotta support the men and women in blue !

          • This is a very worthwhile Twitter thread on the topic of crime:

That was good. White collar crime and corporate crime isn't really thought of as crime in America for the most part.

                  • I haven't posted in this thread for a long time, as it tends to set people off. This story set me off, so I welcome any bootlickers to try and defend it.

Police in California arrested a 65 year old for drunk driving and hit-and-run. In the process of his arrest, they relish in delivering pain. They gleefully tell him they're "conducting pain compliance", while telling him in response to repeated rasping that he can't breathe, "If you can talk, you can breathe." While escorting him to a cop car, in handcuffs, they break his back, beating his face bloody (all on the clip) they tell him "stand up. Come on, be a man. You can feel your legs."

In all of these videos, I never ever see officers stopping their co-workers from abuse. Never. It's all commonplace, everyday stuff. They abuse the public more than help, by a wide margin. They kill innocent people defending property, and yet if your house is burglarized, there's a 99% chance you're shit out of luck.

My hometown has raised the police budget 41% over the last 10 years. We only get more abuse of the public, more corruption, more body cameras that cops manipulate to hide their crimes. Makes me furious. The local bootlickers reply "We all want more police, but we cannot afford the taxes!" Well, get a fucking clue. Stop supporting police waste, and cops that will only bring million $ lawsuits, further leeching off the public.

                      • That clip is exactly what "defund the police" is aimed at stopping. Divert funding to public welfare agencies and send them instead.

So many mental health calls are just executed.

Pathetic that the George Floyd Police Accountability Act didn't make it through Congress.

Don’t worry, Tennessee is more focused on the real important issues. Like book banning of a fantastic Holocaust graphic novel.

It's not individual officers, or bad apples. They've spoiled the bunch, and the whole system is corrupt.

Hey, just my opinion. Let's put a percentage on it and say 90% of cops are more interested in protecting themselves than the community. I bet it's a lot higher when they first enter, probably 80%+ think they're doing it for the betterment of society, but they're trained as a force to intimidate and terrorize.

When the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
Just giving this thread a bump.

                            • New details on the Uvalde massacre, and it just gets worse.

Cops waited over an hour for keys to a door that WAS NOT LOCKED. They're so gutless they refused to even check if the door was locked.

Yet we still hear all the right wing BS about school doors being responsible for these massacres.

These transcripts reveal an incredibly deep level of incompetence, and selfishness, valuing the safety of officers in body armor with shields, who knew they signed up for exactly this, who refuse to even check if the door is locked.

Says a lot about why they kill so many unarmed and non-threatening people when they value their own safety a million times over that of public safety. Shoot first, cover it up later, if it's someone unarmed... or just cower in fear and piss your pants if they're actually armed.
