He did some bullpen work in what I thought was a path to the Twins, but was promoted to AAA. Will he work in the bullpen and make that transition, or will he resume starting. He has a 1.62 ERA, and a 0.94 WHIP in 2019 in just 56 IP. He has 223 Ks in 208 IP with 63 BB and a 2.42 ERA for his minor league career. He can reach triple digits on the radar gun and seems to have top of the rotation stuff. Big question is whether they are grooming him for the bullpen or as a starter?

I haven’t followed closely but would guess it depends (near term) on whether the Twins hang in there in 2019 for a playoff spot. -
I traded him about a month ago. He can bring the heat, and his best case scenario is a front line starter, but I think there is a better chance he ends up sticking in relief. Even there, though, he has top closer potential.Comment
