So the players are 'free' for the years indicated then they must be kept as one of your top 3?

If so, I like 3 years of free Tatis who is emerging as a superstar over Robles and an extra year of Robert.

So, if you are trading Tatis, too little.

    Ottawa Triple Eh's | P.I.M.P.S. | 14 team keep forever
    Champions 16,21 | Runner up 17,19-20

The FOS (retired) | MTARBL | 12 team AL 5x5
    Champions 01,05,17 | Runner up 13-15,20

Weird to leave out Mondesi who is the best asset in the deal?

Really referring to the other side of the deal, it's weird to comment on Robles and Robert and leave out Mondesi who is the best player coming back.

But sure, I'd take Mondesi over Tatis for next year. They are likely going to be drafted in pretty close to the same area next year. And I don't think I'm alone in that valuation for any league that includes steals.

got it - my concern is the OBA/AVG for Mondesi - but yes they are close

Too much for Tatis if I understand the system.

Tatis this year has a BA of .331 and an xBA of .263.

                  wOBA .413 and xwOBA .334

guess which one is more likely for the last two months? he has the biggest extreme in MLB.

I mean, the guy still has the pedigree of future HOFers given his success at this age. but he's not Mike Trout yet.

I left our Mondesi because after next year he is no longer free.

Tatis with double the HR and half the SB but 80 points better in average. To me he is the biggest asset.

That was my take as well. The Tatis guy turned it down without counteroffer.

Being free isn't the only relevant attribute though. I think it's incorrect to leave him out of the valuation. Mock drafts for 2020 that I've seen have Mondesi going ahead of Tatis - not that those are perfect by any means, but it should give us a hint that he's an important part of this deal. The Mondesi side was much better than the Tatis side.

Agreed. Mondesi and Robles are a reasonable offer for Tatis and a WW player. I can see either side of that.

Adding Roberts for nothing put it over the top in my mind.
