I just traded Mercado away but remain very high on him. Tough call between Mercado and LeMahieu. Both are top choices for me.

The drop off is huge after that. Probably Polanco, McCann, and Nunez are next.

I would probably target Mercado but LeMahieu is appealing as well. If you can get both somehow, that’s worth doing. Even if you have to give up some borderline keepers to do it.

Thanks for chiming in. Team A needs to keep one of Lemahieu or Renato for 3B otherwise I'd be all over it. I don't have a SS to send back to fill Polanco's spot. McCann is a FA so I value him less in case he ends up in the NL.

Team B is willing to swap in DHudson 2 who I could flip this year or who might be a cheap closer for next year for Alvarado. I'm leaning towards the Team B side.

He was hesitant to take back Candelario as his 3B but I pointed out that he's been much better since being recalled. Without both Lemahieu/Nunez I was doing the other deal. Calhoun has a 14M team option for 2020 which I think the Angels will pick up.
