I'm clearly looking towards next year, sitting in the upper 70's/lower 80's and in the bottom fourth of the league. I've had Harper on the block for the past month with no nibbles. I've been offered the following:

Austin Meadows $4 1st year and Matt Manning $1 for Trout
Meadows, Manning, and Sixto Sanchez $1 for Trout and Alvarado

I offered up Alvarado, Bradley, and Harper for Meadows and Manning, but he views Meadows as a cheaper version of Harper.

My question for the RJ crowd: Do I need to just dump Harper? He's not even a top 50 player at this point, with his K rate increasing the last three seasons. And is it time to move Trout, given he's going to be $49 next season?

I'd have not qualms getting what I could for Harper given his price. I think Trout is probably still worth his salary next year in your league, but if you can get enough, trading him too makes sense. If you are asking if you should literally drop Harper, no way. I'm sure you can get something good for him. You have to keep trying.

As far as the offers you have, I'm kinda perplexed by why he'd throw in Sixto Sanchez for just Alvarado, but that improves the offer a lot to me. Meadows has been a beast, but he is so frail, it scares me. I like Manning a lot. That trio for Trout and Alvarado is a solid offer.
