At first glance it sounds bizarre. But, given the two cities history of low attendance for baseball games, it just may work for the team. Although, scheduling post-season games would be a public relations nightmare.

Biggest problem is getting the approval of the players association provided they actually need it. Brad Ziegler put it well in a tweet:

I don't agree...it's at least 2 move, most likely 3 and perhaps 4 during the year. Spring training, Tampa, Montreal, and wherever your actual home may be. I think that anyone who looks past the salaries and looks to the impact on the families will not support this half thought out "idea".

Again, anyone who looks past the bare skin of the idea knows that it's a terrible idea...once people look at the impact on the families, and children in particular, they can see the many problems with the multiple moves. Moves impact children in many ways, few of them good...it's terrible for the families. The only group who MIGHT move as much are career military families...and even they don't move 2-4 times a year. Once players toss this out there, PR issue is likely done.
