              More or less. Usually not as big as a 7-11 or whatever convenience store you have out there, but generally the same.

                  Bodega is a Spanish word that has a few meanings, including "grocery store."
                  but as UMJ notes, these tend to be smaller 'neighborhood, on the urban street corner' places.
