  • Trea Turner Broken Finger (4/2)

Deja vu all over again. Broken index finger, I’m sure that’s a good 6 weeks at a minimum.

Just when i was starting to feel good about my first round pick. Damn.

So, what do you think Dave Martinez said to Trea Turner after he broke his finger trying to bunt?

DM: Sorry kid. I hope you make a quick recovery.

        or

DM: WTF Turner! If i knew that you didn't know how to hold your bat to bunt, i would have never asked you to do it.

I hope surgery isn't involved. If not, perhaps only 6 weeks at a minimum.

We'll know more today when he gets his x-rays. Weird that two biggest DL moves are related to finger injuries.

Kieboom time? Or will they just limp along with Difo?

In a dynasty league with no salaries would you trade Touki Toussaint for Carter Kieboom?

I think I would. I like Touki but seeing him sent down for 6 other rando starters didn't fill me with confidence. Kieboom seems like a good bet to hit for power, and stick in the majors, if nothing else.

I agree. Kieboom is very likely not a SS long term, but he can hit and I like his upside more than Touki's.

He rejected it. I'm kind of glad because I need pitching too. I picked up Starlin Castro to hold the fort at MI until Turner comes back. He's gotten off to a good start too.
