    Thanks Dane. Good reference.

I am keeping Scherzer 54 and Nola 29. Bum is kept at 24. Kershaw deGrom and Corbin are the best out there. Then we go to the Paddacks, Burnes, Hill etc. I need to pick up a starter or two it is obvious it will not be Paddack.

        I think the over/under should be 120.

if he's healthy all season, 120 seems right. I'm accounting for him taking a couple of weeks off if he gets as much as a hangnail.

Last draft tonight, a 12-team NL only ultra. Top SPs go in the high-30s, low 40s (Scherzer was kept at $41). Top SPs drafted tonight were Kershaw $30, Darvish $26, Archer $24, Quintana $24. I tossed out Paddack pretty early, just after the top SP were gone.

He went for $33 to the guy with no ace.

I bought him at $21 today in a 15 team mixed keeper. Price was higher than I wanted to pay going in but pitching was extremely thin, and in a keeper league I love the upside long term.

I bought him for $21 in 12 tm NL Only today. I had planned on going to $33, so I was thrilled to land him for $21. He was the 3rd toss after $22 Polanco and $13 Posey, so prices hadn't been established yet.

                          Darvish went $19, for comparison.

I feel like the ceiling on a double plus command SP is incredible. Look at Shane Bieber. I wanted to draft him as a farm guy last year, but all the gurus said he was too fringey, too hittable. I believe Paddack has a better repertoire than Bieber. $21 isn't the cheapest lottery ticket, but I think there's still room for profit.

                            in how many innings, though?
the difference in Paddack's value in redraft vs keeper vs dynasty is exponential.
there are such IP issues here in 2019-2020.

in dynasty? oh, I'd be holding.

The thing is, how many innings can you expect from Maeda, Darvish, or Strasburg? For about the same cost, I prefer the unknown quantity over the known risks of vets in his price range. Adding in keeper value potential and $21 is a no brainer to me.

But I also paid like $26 last year for Scott Kingery, so what the hell do I know?
