Does anyone know when this will be available to use? Will MLB teams IL their guys eligible tomorrow before the season starts? I have a player I want to put on the IL but he's still listed as day-to-day.

Orioles placed Cobb and Wynns on the 10-day IL yesterday. Oakland placed Cotton and Martini on the 10-day IL on 3/19 (retro to 3/17). Seattle placed Swarzak on the 10-day IL on 3/19 and Tuivailala, Bautista, Armstrong, and Seager on the 10-day IL on 3/18 (all retro to 3/17). I don't see any Cardinals on the IL yet, but presumably that will come through today since the team announced it officially yesterday.
Teams really don't have any particular roster need to place a player on the 10-day IL until the day before the season starts."Jesus said to them, 'Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are going into the kingdom of God ahead of you.'"

In my AL league, we have up to 20 IL slots, but none of my injured players (Sano, Kipnis, Lindor, Betances, Puk) have IL status yet so I can't pick up a replacement without dropping someone until they get IL status. Hopefully they'll get it at some point today.
Do y'all know whether Puk, who is on a minor league roster but injured, would still get placed on the IL, allowing me to stash him there and get another active reserve player, or if the IL is only for MLB-level? (We don't have a minor-league stash category, so you have to use an active bench slot.)

Players not on the 40-man roster (or on the 40-man roster but already on option, which doesn't apply to Puk) would likely be placed on the minor-league IL when the minor league season starts in another week or so."Jesus said to them, 'Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are going into the kingdom of God ahead of you.'"
