Yes, the Ks are huge in a league that will incentivize most teams to use four relievers out of nine slots. Betances allows me to do that while still competing in Ks. (The WHIP ratio doesn't help in this league, but Betances can produce in all five of the scoring categories.)

Then I would keep him at $10.

In case anyone who weighed in was wondering, I decided to drop Sano's $18 contract and pay the $9 penalty, and then ended up getting him back in the auction at $7, so it was definitely the right move. If he returns strong I can now keep or extend him from $7.

I don't know if I mentioned it before, but the league has two swing UT slots that can be either extra hitters or extra pitchers. I went 1-1 at auction, but can reassign during the season.

          My post-auction roster:

          C Hicks 1
          1B Guzman 1 (keeper)
          2B Villar 40
          SS Lindor 18 (keeper)
          3B Sano 7
          MI Kipnis 5
          CI Mancini 10
          OF Judge 8 (keeper)
          OF Mazara 13 (keeper)
          OF Bradley 18 (keeper)
          OF Castellanos 27
          OF D.Santana 15
          EH Nunez 5
          UT Palka 1

          Bench: T.Kemp, Kiner-Falefa

          SP Paxton 32
          SP Kikuchi 20
          SP Keller 6
          SP Bundy 4
          SP/RP Yarbrough 1 (keeper)
          SP/RP McHugh 1 (keeper)
          RP Betances 10 (keeper)
          RP May 13
          RP W.Peralta 1 (keeper)
          UP Puk 3

          Bench: Lynn, Leake, Petit

            - your protect list is great, hard to screw that up...and you didn't

            - until a few days ago, I didn't realize how dominant t.may stats are (swingK, etc). I expect him to run with the closer job if healthy...
