First and most urgent, I have an offer of Nick Senzel straight up for Jack Flaherty. Both have options through 2021. Taking the trade and drafting Freddy Peralta is the basic idea.

Shin-soo Choo went in round 13. Didi soon after. Now 6th and 11th up.

This is the Yahoo list as edited

      151 Giles, Ken RP Tor
      171 Knebel, Corey RP Mil
      185 LeMahieu, DJ 2B NYY
      188 Jones, Adam OF Bal
      201 Allen, Cody RP LAA
      206 Renfroe, Hunter OF SD
      215 Cespedes, Yoenis OF NYM
      228 Colome, Alex RP CWS
      231 Alonso, Yonder 1B CWS
      233 Vizcaino, Arodys RP Atl
      236 Grichuk, Randal OF Tor
      240 Herrera, Kelvin RP CWS
      241 Kiermaier, Kevin OF TB
      244 Zimmerman, Ryan 1B Was
      249 Givens, Mychal RP Bal
      250 Fulmer, Michael SP Det

      These are also available

      Brendan Rodgers
      Brendan McKay
      Freddy Peralta
      Ryan McMahon
      Felipe Vazquez
      DJ LeMahieu
      Hunter Renfroe
      Royce Lewis
      Triston McKenzie
      Scott Kingery
      Yoenis Cespedes
      Taylor Trammell
      Brent Honeywell
      Dylan Bundy

I am looking at Knebel, McKay, F Peralta, and F Vazquez in no particular order. These are as much for next season as for this one.

I sent a message that Senzel would not be enough.

Our Cardinals fan grabbed Andrew Miller. If that's a guide, there are two Brewers fans and I just picked Knebel and Freddy Peralta.

          Now three rounds of waiting.

With two Brewers in hand, I sit for almost 30 picks. At that point, the prospect hunting will be going all out. One of my targets is Justin Bour. This is an OBA league and I expect him to get well over the 410 PA in his FG projection. When Ohtani is ready to DH, Albert will be the one sitting.

I also need to fill out the bullpen. Here is the current staff

            SP Jack Flaherty
            SP Yu Darvish
            SP Robbie Ray
            SP Andrew Heaney
            RP Corey Knebel
            RP
            RP
            P Shane Bieber
            P Freddy Peralta
            P

I can take another SP or two. This appears to be a very deep year for lottery tickets. Last season, I was fortunate to hit on Flaherty.

Hold generators in the Ottavino/Pressly mode I can get any time. What I need are RP that are potential starters (McHugh already taken) or closers-in-waiting that also help in Ks and ratios. Suggestions?

Any other playing time breakouts you can point toward?

Suck. Bour taken. Also Seranthony D.

After rushing through four rounds in a day, we do two days with one pick each. Grichuck and some Cs are gone. Still, 19 picks out.

Now in round #19, five picks to go. My wish list has Wander Franco and no one else. He would have options rounds #15, #11, #7 for years 2020, 2021, 2022.

Failing Franco, Brendan McKay is the closest of the elite players to the Majors. I would also consider Brendan Rodgers and Jo Adell.

I'd rather Rodgers and then Adell over McKay. Who knows what McKay will actually be? I like Adell and Rodgers for fantasy.

That's valid. I have two picks in the next 20. I just hope to get two of them. Otherwise, back to the CAD program.

Update. I got Franco. There is a run on RP going. We will see about one of the of the other three in 5 picks. It seems clear I can get at least one of them. I am ranking them Rodgers, Adell, McKay.

I got Adell. I now have two rounds off, then pick the rest of the lineup.

I also got an offer, probably because I have only one RP. I was offered Raisel Iglesias (one year) plus Vince Velasquez (four years) for Flaherty (three years) and my next pick. I replied with a more realistic proposal. He's gone.

We had a serious run of picks. I was eight out when I woke up this morning. When I got home at 6:30 it was my turn to pick. This after three picks all day yesterday. Brandon Lowe and Nate Lowe are gone a few picks apart. One owner complained his law firm was broken up.

I took Clint Frazier in hopes his health is better. Next, I wait for ten picks--oops nine picks. Chris Devinski is gone--then pick two out of four. Even the hold machines I expected to pick up are going. For bats I think Scott Kingery, Brenden McKay is still there and a lot cheaper, Willie Calhoun. There are many more SP lottery tickets--Matt Boyd, Jared Eikhoff, Dereck Holland (qualifies as RP), Brent Honeywell, Chris Paddack, maybe Drew Pomeranz.

                    What do you think?

Update: A pick early this morning and nothing since. I need a RP. If he lasts, I plan to take Matt Burnes, Red Sox. Even if it's a closer by
committee, he will get his share and holds when he doesn't. Holland is also an option.

Got Burnes and am on deck for another pick.

I really like Matt Barnes, as you said, he should be a good RP on a good team regardless of role. I am a big Derek Holland fan especially if slotting him at RP helps you out.I'm not giving up on Willie Calhoun either, I still think he can flat out hit and TEX will figure out what to do with him.

I took Royce Lewis with my on deck pick. Holland and Calhoun will be my first choices next round, then I get to sit one (Luis Robert).

I agree about Calhoun. They have him in a training camp duel with 35-year-old Steve Pearce. If he cannot win that race, he has confidence issues.

Wait what? Calhoun plays for TX, Pearce plays for BOS. How are they in a spring training competition of any kind?

You're right. My bad. Former Ranger Mitch Moreland is the one dueling Pearce for PT. Calhoun is up against Shin-soo Choo who is 36. Choo is expected to be the primary DH if Calhoun can play the OF at least as well as Choo.

Kieboom, Kirilloff, Ke'Bryan Hayes came off the board in consecutive picks. Struck out the side in order.

Now fourth out. Chris Paddack was just picked to a chorus of groans. Puk was also taken for no discernable reason.

I'm going to assume I get Willie Calhoun and post a HDID thread.
