the listing of my eye color on my driver's licenses always has been "GRY" - for grey (or gray).

I doubt if any humans have GRY eyes, and I know I don't (blue, the ladies tell me).

but even before 9-11 and living in the NY/NJ market, I was always told by DMV people, "don't even think about trying to fix it - you'll wind up in bureaucratic hell, and nobody knows or cares what color your eyes are listed at."

    so GRY it remains.

I just heard of a chart topper from another teacher. La-a, pronounced lah-dash-ah. I see a lot of names, but I have not seen punctuation pronounced as part of a name before.

          So it's pronounced Hi-period-I-apostrophe-m-period-Mandy?

Depends, in some cases in Arkansas it’s all the same family member.
