  • Biden's answer about the legacy of slavery is disqualifying, watch this clip. It's all laid out clearly, exactly how extremely problematic and racist his response is.

Anand Giridharadas, a very smart talking head, responded on twitter with this summation:

"Is this not one of the most explicitly racist moments of all time in a Democratic Primary debate?

The record player moment may be what finally reveals Biden's bankruptcy.

A staggering two minutes in our politics.

America's gravest, most persistent injustice recast as parental ignorance.

Also, how can your main takeaway about the African-American family be that there's too little listening to music going on?

It's a whole new level of racism to say that the way to repair the legacy of slavery is for black people to stop refusing to give music to their kids.

This is easily the defining moment of today's debate, and it deserves more media scrutiny. This is the frontrunner. Currently the most likely nominee. This is how he talks about African-Americans, who are the beating heart and soul of his party.

Let's be clear: if you are for Biden in this contest, the casual, paternalistic, "Mad Men"-era racism he flaunts -- they can't parent; this one here is clean, articulate, and a nice looking guy -- isn't a dealbreaker for you."

Larry David was once being heckled, long before any success. Heckler says "I'm taking my dog over to fuck your mother, weekly." Larry responds "I hate to tell you this, but your dog isn't liking it."

That line almost suggests he was ever in the race, as other than a mere formality.

        • Warren continues to gain momentum in Iowa while Sanders appears to be in serious trouble.

A surging Sen. Elizabeth Warren is challenging Joe Biden’s dominance in the race for the Democratic nomination, standing at 22% to the former vice president’s 20% in a new CNN/Des Moines Register/Mediacom poll of likely Iowa caucusgoers.

And Bernie was once as high as 25% in this poll (in March), and almost beat Hillary here in 2016. In another poll as recently as 2+ weeks ago, Bernie was at 26%, but three polls yesterday has him with an average of 12%.

"[Warren] appears to be gaining ground primarily at the expense of Sanders. She holds the support of 32% of those who say they caucused for Sanders in 2016 (Sanders himself stands at 25% among that group), stands at 48% among those who consider themselves "very liberal," and for the first time in CNN/DMR polling on the race, has edged ahead of Sanders among those under age 35 (27% back Warren, 22% Sanders)."

His Deputy field director in Iowa, who was also there in 2016, also recently left his campaign.

Warren, OTOH, averaged 23% in the 3 Iowa polls from yesterday, clearly ahead of Biden who averaged 20%.

              • More good news for Warren and more bad news for Sanders (out of NH). This could turn into a 2-horse race fairly soon.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former Vice President Joe Biden lead the Democratic field in New Hampshire, with 27% and 25% support respectively, according to a new poll of likely Democratic primary voters from Monmouth University on Tuesday.

                • Warren's campaign has been a pretty booming success so far, particularly given the Pochohontas/blood test anchor she seemed to have around her ankle at the starting gate. My biggest fear is still whether she can beat Trump head-to-head in the states she'll need to win once husbands are in the private cocoon of the voting booth.

Her corruption and Hillary Clinton connections certainly won't help. You know she collected $10 Mil from Raytheon and other dark money sources for her current campaign, despite claiming to be grassroots funded in the primary, right? Hey Sour Masher, does that seem worse than the point you brought up about Sanders shutting down protests against weapons manufacturers? Seem about just as bad? 30 years apart, Warren taking $10 Mil, Bernie receiving nothing?

You guys know Warren bought the WFP endorsement, her daughter sits on the board of a company that donated $45K to WFP? You know she's been talking to Hillary Clinton and the superdelegates to control the vote? You know she's heading a DNC fundraiser in late October? She's so corrupt, just tie that blindfold tighter. Trump will be able to label her correctly as a phony. I think she can overcome it to win, but her truth would be revealed in the White House.

Ok, back to the circle jerk.

                    • Your definition of "corrupt" seems awfully broad, but I honestly have no interest whatsoever in debating you on this. I think she has the record the ideas and the skills to be an awesome president and I am unconflicted about supporting and promoting her.

Any proof of this? And please, not the typical TW "proof" like two or three guys on Twitter or a video of an opinion of some D-list talking head. Thanks.

I know, none of you seem too interested in the details. Its laughable.

With the media in the bag, the DNC and Clinton machine lining up behind Warren, I think she's quite likely to win the primary at this point. But i want to put out these concerns now, because you ignore some serious shit in her record, and I'll keep pointing it out as long as you have zero response.

                          • Also, if any of you think Biden is still viable to run given the massive corruption exposed and hyper-magnified by Trump's impeachment inquiry, you would also be nuts. He wouldn't be able to defend himself. The video of him speaking about threatening to withhold $1 Bn unless the Ukrainian authority fired the investigator of his son's firm? Whatever, details... bunch of malarkey, right?

                            • So this says Raytheon contributed $42k to her campaign over the last 9 years - -$32k from employees, $10k from the company. Again, do you have proof of "$10 million?"

The $10.4 Mil transfer is well documented. Google it and choose your preferred source.

The real issue is her interview on TYT where she was asked if she would be grassroots funded through to the general election and she said "I dont believe in unilateral disarmament, when it comes to the general, we need all the lobbyist money, all the dark money..."
