What the heck are they thinking? They refused to part with a 2nd for Thomas but gave up a 1st for Cooper?

Jerry is an old man who just suffered a brutal last-second "off the upright" loss to the hated Redskins. so he got himself a new toy.

what a get for Gruden - this has an outside chance to be his second top 10 pick of the 2019 draft.
finished 10th in this 37th yr in 11-team-only NL 5x5
      own picks 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 in April 2022 1st-rd farmhand draft
      won in 2017 15 07 05 04 02 93 90 84

      SP SGray 16, TWalker 10, AWood 10, Price 3, KH Kim 2, Corbin 10
      RP Bednar 10, Bender 10, Graterol 2
      C Stallings 2, Casali 1
      1B Votto 10, 3B ERios 2, 1B Zimmerman 2, 2S Chisholm 5, 2B Hoerner 5, 2B Solano 2, 2B LGarcia 10, SS Gregorius 17
      OF Cain 14, Bader 1, Daza 1

Gruden making the raiders his team, trying to keep the games close while tanking it and amassing draft picks and cap space. bringing in some older players like Nelson and Martin for decorum. they move to a new city next year so there will be less of a fan backlash from this years results.

Wow, Jerry Jones has gone delusional.

Given the crying incident, I wonder if Derek Carr is next.

Amari is also a big WR who now looks like a TE. He's big and much slower than he was in college, when he ran a 4.42 40. I think these are the reasons why Gruden shipped him off -- his inconsistency is because he's getting beat by opposing corners. This was a steal for Oakland.

Very good points. He's made Jordy Nelson look really fast again by comparison.

Eli Apple traded to NO for a 4th round pick in 2019 and a 7th in 2020.

Look at that a trade for a reasonable set of draft picks.

A 4th round pick for a top 10 overall pick from 2 years ago who is a top 40 CB according to PFF this year? Don't think so. The potential alone is worth a 4th round pick.

He's a locker room problem, which is probably why he was sent packing.
