It sounds like it was research project, but informed consent appears to have been botched badly.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

Yep. The way to do it would send the consent form and the questions in a sealed envelope to take home to the parents. No way would I give it given their age and the questions.

I guess this is near the end of the show's run, or just reruns? or you're like 6 and she's a teenager?

she's only a year older than me, and let's just say that I still remember her first scene in the pilot (I was 14, she was 15) - she has a basketball and she's supposed to be a tomboy. wait, does that mean.....

of course, Charlie's Angels also debuted at an ideal point in my life, lol

actually, the mid-1970s shows were a lot more, well, brazen than a lot of the earlier ones. seems like it awakened a lot of sleeping giants around here!

Yeah, I mostly watched it in re-runs. The shows that were run in syndication on Channels 5, 9 and 11 after school were the ones I could watch. I was only allowed to watch primetime TV on Friday and Saturday nights until at least the mid-to-late-1980s. So the shows I grew up on were syndicated re-runs of Brady Bunch, One Day at a Time, Gilligan's Island, Facts of Life, Diff'rent Strokes, Charlie's Angels, and then weekend shows like Knight Rider, A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard, The Incredible Hulk, Wonder Woman.

I'm kind of surprised this weak study was highlighted in Time, but is relevant to the topic.

These can benefit men emotionally, but researchers warn there may be a downside.
