  • Pick one ROS: Ohtani or Archer?

Have a decent surplus of bats, up top or leading in HR/RBI/R/SB...need an arm that can get nice K's and hopefully some W/QS without tanking my ERA/WHIP.
Have been offered my choice of Archer or Ohtani for E. Encarnacion?

    Team in sig. Thoughts? Thanks!

    Ohtani
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

EE has been a disaster so far, but I'm confident in a rebound. I'm not so sure about Archer, who seems to always be at the level he's currently at -- high Ks but high ERA/WHIP, low wins -- and Ohtani is probably best, but will be limited to 150-160 IP.

If you need the Ks, I'd take Archer and hope for his typical 4.00 ERA and 1.25 WHIP.

Archer will improve but wins will be very hard to come by on that team and he'll also miss Kiermaier's defense. Not sure his upside is what it used to be.

I'd take Ohtani, although you may end up missing EE when he turns on beast mode after his early season struggles. He was pretty bad the first couple of months last year, but was fun to in the final four.

I think this summarizes the argument for moving Archer and keeping Ohtani.

            Ottawa Triple Eh's | P.I.M.P.S. | 14 team keep forever
            Champions 16,21 | Runner up 17,19-20

The FOS (retired) | MTARBL | 12 team AL 5x5
            Champions 01,05,17 | Runner up 13-15,20
