    I like both, nice get.

Hmm, I'm not sure Meadows is likely to outproduce Kinsler in fantasy.

I have Gleyber and Gyorko. Kinsler has been so awful. You might be right about Meadows vs Kinsler but he was the guy to go. Meadows will probably be gone in a week or two but I don't think I'll miss Kinsler.

I made a bunch of moves the past few days...

        C - Alfaro
        1B - Belt
        2B - Torres
        SS - Semien, Adames
        3B - Andujar
OF - Dickerson, Brantley, Hicks, Jankowski, Smith, Soto, O'Neill

SP - Buehler, Mikolas, Manaea, Heaney, Velasquez, Lopez, Boyd
        RP - Kela, Strickland, Boxberger
        DL - Reyes, Britton

I'm still in last place but it seems like I am making some progress in getting out of the basement.

quick update ... I've settled into 6th. Plateauing on hitting cats, tough to make up ground; but there's still 4 months to go. Pitching has been respectable.

          C - C Ianetta
          1B - H Ramirez
          2B - C Hernandez
          SS - A Simmons
          3B - R Healy
          OF - M Brantley, C Dickerson, D Peralta
          U - M Reynolds, T O'Neill (trying to catch a bit of lightning)
          R - Y Alonso, M Gonzales

          SP - D Bundy, A Heaney, M Mikolas, T Roark, M Fulmer, V Velasquez
          RP - A Ottavino, H Strickland, K Kela, B Boxberger, S Dominguez
          DL - A Reyes, D Salazar

Have made a bunch of offers to try to deal some pitching for hitting, but no takers (no counters either; not a single trade has been made in this league)

edit: just swapped Hanley for Moreland

It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

So far Meadows was the right choice, good call.

Ha, I actually waived him for Soto the next day. But I picked him back up for Boyd. But now I have eight outfielders. I need to make a trade or two. I figure Dickerson and Brantley will have trade value.

i didn't do a FA league but it's a regular H2H yahoo. who do you guys like best ROY. i am only looking mostly for BA, and maybe runs. it would help to decide before june 15th when Britton comes off DL. not really familiar with Almora. they have decent walk/strikeout ratios. former 1st rd picks. i worry about playing time too. can bench Conforto or Nimmo vs LHP sometimes. and it looks possible that Almora can hold his own vs RHP but likes LHP better, or is on the wrong side of a split and he doesn't always hit 1st. Josh Reddick is also an option as he does great at home vs RHP. but he's not hitting 2nd this year.

                Michael Conforto
                Brandon Nimmo
                Albert Almora Jr.
                Josh Reddick

I think Conforto is the safest.

Outfield has just been brutal this year. The Mets basically said Conforto should be rehabbing in the minors but he's not. I missed picking up Nimmo before his latest hot streak. My SPs are solid but nobody seems to be paying attention enough to make trades.

                    C Flowers
                    1B Moreland
                    2B Matt Carpenter
                    3B Matt Chapman
                    SS Tim Anderson
                    OF Jose Martinez
                    OF Pillar
                    OF Schebler
                    UT Ryon Healy
                    UT Bour
                    BN Matt Davison, Ian Kinsler
                    DL Thames

SP Wacha, Clevinger, Pivetta, Heaney, Stripling, E-Rod, Lugo, Manaea
                    RP Strickland, Blake Parker, Kela

I was keeping Manaea around for his KC start and he didn't disappoint, but despite his 0.99 WHIP he doesn't seem to grab anyone's eye. In the last few days I've dropped both Devinski and Peacock, so I'm going to need a new MR/ratio guy soon, but I'm hoping to trade some SPs first. I'm way under my projected innings anyway.

my team is fading. 9th place. I think it's half decent, but there's just no room to have a bad few days in these kinds of leagues.

                      C - C Ianetta
                      1B - M Moreland
                      2B - C Hernandez
                      SS - A Simmons
                      3B - C Villanueva
                      OF - M Brantley, C Dickerson, D Peralta
                      U - J Bour, J Soler
                      R - Y Alonso

                      SP - D Bundy, A Heaney, M Mikolas, T Roark, C Buchholz, V Velasquez, L Weaver, C Rodon
                      RP - H Strickland, K Kela, B Boxberger, S Dominguez
                      DL - A Ottavino

                      Losing Alex Reyes hurt
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

I'm still bouncing between 6th and 8th. Every time I make a push, something bad happens. I've got a lot of DL players and bad pitching.

                        C - Grandal
1B - Carpenter (Belt on DL)
                        2B - Hernandez
                        3B - Rendon
                        SS - T. Anderson
OF - Brantley, J. Martinez, Soto
                        UT - Nimmo, Alonso

                        BN - Acuna, Belt, Andrus

SP - Velasquez, Ross, Buehler, Castillo, Darvish
RP - Boxburger, Strickland, Iglesias, Hader, Devenski, C. Green

I need my hitters to come off the DL soon.

                                ok, here's my team ...

                                C - T Barnhart
                                1B - Y Alonso
                                2B - W Adames
                                SS - K Marte
                                3B J Candalario
                                OF - J Soler, M Kepler, D Santana, C Mullins, D DeShields

                                SP - M Pineda, J Musgrove, J Junis, K Gibson, L Weaver, M Fiers, T Tousssaint
RP - B Morrow (will go to DL spot), M Givens, S Dominguez, T May, B Parker

Nobody good waived yet ... L Gurriel probably the only interesting one.

Overall I think the offense could be half decent, but the pitching is looking pretty rough.
