I think Neris has a chance to emerge with a bunch of saves in Philly. Not necessarily on purpose, but Kapler really likes his strikeout ability. And if the Wheel of Kapler is going to keep landing on random guys who put runners on base in the 9th, then Neris is going to be the guy who gets called in to clean up the mess.

Neris, Dominguez and Neshek are all going to share the Kapler merry go-round unless Klentak is told by Middleton to go get Kimbrel. Kapler is a manager who like like a kid in the candy store just has to keep trying all the different candy bars. Wouldn't be surprised if Nicasio gets a chance for a save.

Please! Nicasio has looked awful. Were it not for his past "name", he would never have been signed, much less retained.
Kapler has all but stopped the offensive player merry go round he employed last year, but not the relief pitcher bit, mostly due to general ineffectiveness all around.
Jude did get something wrong from last night's Mets loss: Arrieta did not stay in because he HAD to due to the bullpen. He was cruising, his pitch count was manageable, he really wanted to complete a game for the first time since 2016. Personally, I think he should have been given that opportunity even after the leadoff hitter got on on a bleeder. He was that good and in command. But, Kapler is trending away from his horrible micro-management of last year--saints be praised!

I know where you can find several who are unemployed. Of course, with the full weight of the FBI behind them, they couldn't find anything that would stick to anyone they could prosecute. It isn't the best resume.
