                  Luke Jackson has gone back to pitching like ..... Luke Jackson. Two blown saves in a row for Luke. Sean Newcomb got his first save in between the two Jackson clunkers, so he may be worth a look now.

                        Looking to make move for a closer, and I'm wondering how to evaluate Kimbrel. How confident are folks that he will hit the ground running when he signs? How do you think he will compare to Treinen once he come back? I'm pursuing both, but the ask for Treinen is much higher. I'm wondering if he is owrth the premium over Kimbrel.

                          I'd be leery of Kimbrel this year - especially if you don't need a black swan to win a title.

                          but if you do need one of those, an outside chance he is that.

                            With Hicks losing more control seemingly every appearance, do you think Carlos Martinez might have a shot to sneak into the closer’s role by the end of the year? Or maybe a mix and match with him and Andrew Miller?

                                Looking over this team's roster - bullpen, rotation, lineup - it's hard to fathom that they were in the 2016 wildcard game
                                It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.
