Cowboys CB Marquez White was arrested on June 15 for second-degree felony assault with a deadly weapon in Collin County, Texas.
White said the incident stems from a "road-rage" dust-up that occurred last October. White was allegedly heading home and exiting a tollway when another man tried to speed by him on the service road. White felt his "life was threatened," then pulled a gun he legally owned. White was not arrested until June. A sixth-round pick in last year's draft, White spent 2017 on the Cowboys' practice squad and re-signed a reserve/future deal in January.

He also allegedly physically harmed and threatened to kill the woman. Browner was arrested for cocaine possession last May and for making criminal threats last September. He has been out of the league since the Seahawks released him in August of 2016.

Former Seahawks CB Brandon Browner is facing six charges stemming from a July 8 arrest in La Verne, California including attempted murder.
Browner will be arraigned on Tuesday. He's facing four felonies and two misdemeanors, including attempted murder, robbery, burglary, false imprisonment and two counts of child endangerment. Police allege that Browner broke into his ex-girlfriend's home (she had a restraining order against him) and forced her back inside the residence when she tried to escape. He's also been accused of stealing her Rolex. First-degree attempted murder carries a maximum sentence of life in prison in California. The 33-year-old's career ended when the Seahawks released him in 2016.

Here's one from the bathroom police. Who hasn't stopped at a restaurant to use the restroom? You would think a half decent lawyer could easily get these charges dropped.

Cardinals TE Ricky Seals-Jones was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespassing in Scottsdale, Arizona this past Saturday.
Seals-Jones was arrested after he attempted to use the restroom in the W Hotel in Scottsdale. He then tried to use the facilities at the sushi restaurant located in the hotel and was again denied due to the restrooms only "available to guests." An employee says RSJ "one-hand shoved" him in the shoulder as Seals-Jones attempted to walk past staff. It’s a relatively minor incident, but who knows if anything will come of it, which RSJ could then be subject to a very minor suspension.

Browns fourth-round WR Antonio Callaway was cited for marijuana possession on Sunday morning.
Callaway was also driving with a suspended license when he was stopped at 2:59 AM. The amount of marijuana in Callaway's possession was a "minor misdemeanor" under Ohio law, but that's not how the NFL is going to view it. Callaway failed a drug test at the Combine, and was only available in the fourth round thanks to a host of off-the-field issues at Florida. He's facing a league-mandated suspension. Callaway was also stopped the same day the Browns traded Corey Coleman. It's unclear if the Browns knew of Callaway's situation when they flipped Coleman to the Bills. The Browns' once-intriguing skill corps is rapidly thinning. For what it is worth, Callaway was still running with the 1s on Tuesday. Aug 7 - 3:20 PM

This is kind of a new one!

"Cleveland Browns linebacker Mychal Kendricks has apologized after being charged with insider trading by federal officials Wednesday.

Kendricks released a statement shortly after the announcement by U.S. Attorney William McSwain, admitting to insider trading and saying he accepts "full responsibility for my actions" and that he "knew it was wrong."

Kendricks allegedly made a profit of nearly $1.2 million from four separate investments tied to insider trading four years ago. Damilare Sonoiki, a television writer, also has been charged with assisting Kendricks in his investments."

                Busy day!

Vikings WR Cayleb Jones was arrested and charged with felony theft and misdemeanor domestic assault on Tuesday.

Jones isn't long for the NFL. Already slapped with a four-game suspension earlier in the offseason for violating the league's PEDs policy, this is just more fuel for the Vikings to cut the third-year UDFA. We'd be surprised if Jones was on the Vikings' roster by the time the weekend rolls around.

Reminds me of Colin Jost's line at 1:20 of this sketch:

He won’t get anywhere near 25 years, but he’ll do some jail time.

NJ Advance Media's Ron Zeitlinger reports Giants backup QB Kyle Lauletta was arrested after almost striking an officer with his vehicle Tuesday morning.

There are not many details, but Zeitlinger reports Lauletta failed to obey a police officer's direction while driving to the practice facility on Tuesday morning and, in the process, almost struck an officer with his car. This sounds minor, but it is another disappointing development for the cratering Giants. There was some hope Lauletta would take over as the starting quarterback following the bye, but that seems unlikely at this point.
