John Currie, the University of Tennessee AD who initially attempted to hire Greg Schiano as head coach only to have it spectacularly backfire when angry alumni found out (Schiano worked for Penn State and was allegedly complicit in the Sandusky cover-up), and who then was potentially liable because UT and Schiano signed a letter of intent before backing out, and who then had about 5 other coaches spurn his offers to coach, was fired on Friday. Ouch!
