  • AL Minor League Pick - Mateo/

    10-team AL-only 5x5 (OBP) keeper league

We're finally having our draft on Saturday and I've got the 1st pick. Most of the usual suspects are already being kept (including Moncada and Barreto by me ), so here is the best of what's left:

Jorge Mateo - SS - NY
    Tyler O'Neill - OF - Sea
Willy Adames - SS - TB
Nick Gordon - SS - Min
Kyle Tucker - OF - Hou

There are plenty of pitchers available as well, but they're hardly ever worth the hassle so I've mostly written them off. This is the order Rotoworld has for them - is there any reason to mix things up?

Kyle Tucker, IMO...and I don't think that it's particularly close among the guys you listed. Some people like Willy Adames better because of the position...

I'd take Adames first, O'Neill second, and Tucker third. You can bump Mateo up if you're a "skills not roles" guy, but I have no idea where he'll play and how he fits into the Yankee plans. If the Yankees are competitive, I could easily see him being dealt for pitching help.
I'm just here for the baseball.

How about a couple Jays prospects, one far away but with huge upside and another very close but not as studly:

            Vlad Guerrero Jr
            Rowdy Tellez

I'll take Vladdy Jr all day long...and I'll take upside over closeness to the bigs every time as well.
