He came with very prepared, factual retorts, unlike your gibberish.
Hey Chief, the one thing I’ve supported is your take on the Tariffs. Maybe you failed to comprehend that too, cuz reading is hard. But you keep creating the straw men. And, while you mistakenly assume everything is a defense of Trump, rest assured it’s not. I don’t defend Trump. I call you on your fact-less claims. But if that’s how you want to play it, ok then. I’m a trump defender and your guilty conscience has you over compensating to appease your shame of voting for him. Sounds good.

I’ll be here all night, be sure to tip your wait staff.

Damn man, she made it up! She spoke to ZERO FBI agents! Your Trump apologist shtick needs work.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders admitted to federal investigators that she provided reporters baseless information related to former FBI Director James Comey's dismissal, according to special counsel Robert Mueller's redacted report.

The report released Thursday stated that Sanders conceded to the special counsel's office she had a "slip of the tongue" when she told the media that "countless members of the FBI" had lost faith in Comey.

"She also recalled that her statement in a separate press interview that rank-and-file FBI agents had lost confidence in Comey was a comment she made 'in the heat of the moment' that was not founded on anything," the Mueller report stated.

So tell me, if a statement about "countless agents" (which is in itself a deceptive description of a number)... if that statement is later said to be "baseless" and "not founded on anything", how many agents do you suppose she's saying she talked with?

          Could it be zero?!!
Larry David was once being heckled, long before any success. Heckler says "I'm taking my dog over to fuck your mother, weekly." Larry responds "I hate to tell you this, but your dog isn't liking it."

It could be, but that’s not what he originally wrote, is it?

Dude (as we apparently now address each other), why are you so interested in getting into the middle this? If you can’t figure out what this is really about, then my advice to is stay out it. If you disagree with my back and forth with revo and find it boring then put me on block or mute or whatever. I’d probably appreciate that. Thanks in advance.

            • hey, it's a public forum, anyone can jump in ... if you want to have a private convo take it to PM's ... (tho I hope you don't, this is highly entertaining!!!)
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

Your argument is now teetering on the totally bizarre. I said she spoke to "zero" FBI agents and lied about this to Mueller. You had a shit fit, saying it was nonsense. Yet that's exactly what Teenwolf posted -- that it's in the Mueller report that her comment was baseless. His inference is 100% correct. What is your problem here?

Thank you, thank you very much! It’s been entertaining for me, as well. And, in the words of the late great Tom Petty, “no, I won’t back down. I’m gonna stand my ground.”

But, that said, you’re absolutely correct, this is a “public” forum. And, I don’t have a problem with anyone getting in. I’m just not obligated to respond and the lack of a respond isn’t intended to admit I’m wrong or hiding or whatever.

What’s my problem? Have you not been keeping up?

If only you would quote factual things in the first place without offering the revo spin. Your comments had nothing to do with the Mueller reports. Try to keep up.

But, I do agree with you, it’s hard to not have an argument teeter on the bizarre when the person you’re arguing with keeps “evolving” (I know you’ve evolved, I recall you mentioning that in another post). I just try to chalk it up to more crazy rambling and utterances by the great Chief Exaggerator. I’m seriously thinking of getting hats made that have MEICGA. Make the Exaggerator in Chief Great Again! I’ll go with blue. The red is kinda overdone.

Anywho, here’s what you originally wrote on Sanders leaving (a subject which I really didn’t care much about until you offered your editorial conjecture (an opinion based on nothing):

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who hasn't held a press briefing in 94 days — the longest drought ever for a president— is the next Trumpie to depart. I wonder if her getting caught lying about the FBI had anything to do with it?
Now in the post above, you double down on the insane, and wrote that she lied TO Mueller, which you take to mean she was “caught.” Can you copy that straight from the Mueller report for me. I missed that part!

In fact, she wasn’t “caught lying” to the Special Counsel, and even the Politico link you posted as your evidence never made this revo statement of fact. Why you posted that link made no sense but that’s how you do you, I guess.

So, here’s a question, Chief, if she lied (as you have clearly stated), why hasn’t she been charged like Cohen, Flynn, Manafort? Isn’t lying to the FBI or the Special Counsel kind of a big thing?

Let me answer it for you to save you the embarrassment, because she didn’t. She didn’t lie to Mueller, Exaggerator in Chief.

She admitted that she “exaggerated” (something she’s clearly better at than you; admitting her guilt) by saying it was a slip of the tongue, a heat of the moment comment, which she also regrets making. She says it was based on nothing. So, in fact, to the Special Counsel she told the truth. So, to your original point, if lying about the FBI wasn’t the reason, what was the reason for her deciding its time to move on?

Do press secretaries typically stay longer than a couple of years? Why would she want to leave? Hmmm.

Could it possibly be that’s she been in a thankless, high stakes, high profile job, that draws ridiculoius and extreme amounts of ridicule and scorn from the media and the left. Or, since you like speculating, maybe it has something to do with her not having much of a private life or even being able to go out to dinner without being harassed by the resistance. Maybe it’s the doxing by the left and she feels her family would be better protected away from the toxic environment of DC. And, yes, maybe it’s that’s she really is exploring a run for Governor in her home state (as reported by most media outlets, except faux revo news, of course, which totally debunked this as crazy).

Zero. Should we talk about zero? Another statement of revo fact. Are you certain she has never spoken to a single FBI agent, ever, who expressed frustration with Comey? I don’t know that she has and, frankly, you don’t know that she hasn’t. But you right, I’m wrong. It happens a lot around you.

                          • I wonder sometimes what brings anyone to choose to defend Donald Trump. The man is an evil wretch who is putting children in cages and being cruel to them on purpose.

I will defend Donald Trump's human dignity, that he is a human being, who, like the children he incarcerates, is deeply loved by God and of great intrinsic value. I will defend his legal rights as a human being and as an American citizen.

But I cannot fathom those who choose to defend Trump against the outrage of those who see the helpless and marginalized that he systematically belittles, attacks, and harms. I cannot understand those who do it, whether in the service of "fairness" or parts of the Republican or libertarian agenda. That is not for the greater good, it is in support of dark evil.

                            • The continual ever present defense by you, Bernie in particular of a fascist wanna be is grotesque. I am taking the Jude approach and wont bounce in more than once every couple weeks in these talks you enjoy, so you get some free shots in my absence. The quote that you are taking offense with:
"Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who hasn't held a press briefing in 94 days — the longest drought ever for a president— is the next Trumpie to depart. I wonder if her getting caught lying about the FBI had anything to do with it?"

This above quote is true, Huckabee hasnt had a press briefing in a historically long stretch, and that is her job, so her need to be there is not so much. And She was caught lying about the FBI. Not to the FBI, which is a crime, but to the press, which is virtually 100% of time when she spoke there were lies to press.

Your constant posting, in desperate defense of Trump, its not about truth at all. You cant admit how Trump ended up in position he is in is via an exceptional confluence of events, not just running against a historically unpopular candidate, but that there were a series of unprecedented circumstances, I could break it down for the 100th time, but would love to hear you say it, rather than stick to the line, Trump won because HRC didnt campaign in Wisconsin. Can you admit there was a break in FBI protocol and that the Comey public statement days before election cost HRC something, 538 estimated it as some 1.5% neg move for HRC after Comey statement but its like nailing jello so just some effect.

Can you admit there was a mass russian election meddling via bots/troll farms/active groups dedicated to help Trump chances at election, and this operation is still, to this day, going on unimpeded? I know Judge has stated he felt it was a nothing burger until I provided links showing it was some couple hundred million contacts with people in varying degree. Again like nailing jello, what effect did this have? Maybe negligible, it only had to be a tiny fraction of 1% of 1% contacts to be decisive in swinging election. Can you admit the 100+ russian contacts with Trump circle leading to election is not a great look,Trumps eagerness to trash every one of US allies but never a harsh word for Putin, and his siding with Putin over our intel agencies in Helsinki, not a great look. Trump having private meetings with no US counterpart present with Putin, who does have his translator, and we learn about meetings only thru russian announcements, not great look.

I know Trump had his big white power clan rally in Orlando a couple of days, I am a floridian and cant help notice that there is no mention of the open white supremacist support/signs of his supporters. This is seriously broken, mass open comfortable support for what were in the shadows groups but who have found in Trump and his hate policy, a home. You post some dozen times a day supporting Trump rather than talk about the thousands of children, even infants, being forcibly seperated from their parents and held for months in what our own agencies are saying are inhumane conditions. Evil is helped a bit with every support of a known evil entity.

You're a sore loser who has to get in the final word, can't get over the fact your hero is despised, and you leap -- not jump, but leap -- to his defense constantly over nothing but minutiae.

Yup, Sarah Sanders is a gallant hero of TrumpWorld who has been wronged by the media, and now me, and is nothing but an innocent bystander in all this. Plus, she also needs 3 years off from her thankless, high stakes job (which she hasn't done in over 94 days) to now prepare for the grueling 2022 Arkansas Governor's race.

The guy who claims he hates snarkiness is now RJ's King of Snark. Laughable.
