Because unfortunately you are among a very small minority of Republicans who don't support him. In fact, Trump has taken over the Republican Party for the time being. Plenty of principled conservatives are leaving for that reason. Hopefully it's only temporary but I have a feeling it's not.

McConnell won't even re-open the government despite likely having a veto-proof majority in the Senate on a bill they already passed! WTF?! When did the Senate become beholden to the President's whims? It's a fucking national disgrace and McConnell needs to be removed from power.

Huh, what are you talking about? Much of the article was historical details of previous impeachments.

Do you not feel Trump has damaged the office of the Presidency? That isn't a partisan viewpoint by the way as plenty of prominent Republicans have made similar arguments.

This Presidency was doomed before it started... yeah Im going to say it - the D's made their bed with HRC..... Holy shit - Trump beat her and now we have a whole group of people that are racists, bigots, misogynists, homo-phobes, and what ever other label you can throw on people. Trump may not be a great President, but he at least got people from all sides to see the the press has been more than just "providing the news". We are now seeing how bad tribalism currenlty is - and if people look at history - how much worse it can get.

He nominates one SCOTUS judge - and it gets through no issue. He nominates a 2nd one - and now because it may change the court a bit - But TRUMP (and who cares about due process [oh -its not really a court proceeding charade])....

He wants to be more proactive about border security on the southern border..... the last few Presidents have indicated a problem there. Obama changed the definition of "deport" in order to appear tougher. BUT Trump.......

China has been recognized as a bad trading partner for going on a couple decades and the prior administrations noted it but didnt attack it head on. Trump implements the tariffs to try and affect some type of reversal. BUT Trump........

Im no fan of how the guy acts - he is arrogant and childish - but for better or worse the Dem's couldnt manage to find a better candidate than good old HRC (the chosen one - or the one who bought the deck being played). BUT Trump..........

Trumps not the victim -- we all are.....

Scorched Earth policy is the motivation behind the But Trump.. The post attempts to show that prior administrations agreed there were issues, but didnt do much if anything to address it. Trump if anything, isnt playing the politics as usual game - he wants to affect some type of progress, unlike changing a definition to look tough on immigration.....

But Trump is and has been the reaction since HRC lost - and the people most affected by the Dems inability to get over the butt hurt is all of us. They have agreed in principal about funding for immigration - now BUT Trump - we wont spend a dollar. Call your Democratic leaders and get them to the table to actually do some meaningful negotiation.

I hate that we are in this place, but we are here because the D's fucked it up royally - and still havent admitted it. Rather they play shenanigans because But Trump..... its sad that if there was any other person as President they would likely come to the table with something meaningful...

Similarly - the R's get to keep jacking off trying to figure out how do we get this guy out in 2 years. Which one of us is going to be the guy to stand up and potentially commit political suicide as nots noted earlier today.
