    dumbest attempt to collude in the playoffs I've ever seen

    Note that our league apparently doesn't have a trade deadline even though it's not a keeper league, doesn't prevent people out of the playoffs from trading with people still in, and doesn't have a trade review period. In the past this hasn't been a problem.

    We're in the top 4 of the playoffs now. I'm the 3 seed, favored against the 2 seed. This trade just happened:

    2 seed gets: TY Hilton, Steven Jackson
    7 seed, in consolation bracket, gets: Darren McFadden, Roy Helu

    That is about the most egregious bullshit I can remember seeing. It's getting reversed, but how can they have expected that to not get noticed?
    In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

    Blame the commissioner for not installing a trade deadline.

      Seems even to me.
      Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?
