  • College Football Is Back!

UCLA vs. Rice today at 4:30 PDT. It's a new era here at UCLA after our lost decade.

Earlier this week USC put up a Matt Barkley billboard near campus and stoked the fires. I'm not sure what happened, but a day later it was covered up lol.

    So who else is pumped?

Always pumped. Nothing like jumping right in with a game at Jerryworld against the defending champs. 13.5 point underdogs at last check. Pretty nervous, but just hoping that Bama's loss of a lot of talent gives a shot. Of course, they have replaced most of that talent with highly rated guys so I'm not sure how well that will go. We shall see.

    Go Blue!

Meet your early Heisman frontrunner, Taylor Martinez! (24-36, 354 yds, 5 TDs, 0 Ints)

If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

I'm partial to Geno Smith's line against equally crappy competition: 32-36, 323 yards, 4 TDs, 0 INTs, also rushed for 65 on 8 carries with a TD there.

Yeah, murder should be reserved to describe what Bama did to us Even with a Sugar Bowl win last year, we're just not there yet, but hopefully in a few years.

Well that's because your alma mater is actually an academic institution, whereas 'Bama is a semi-pro football factory where literacy is frowned upon.

Can't wait for the Nebraska game. It'll tell me a lot about the direction of our program.

                        LET'S GO MIZZOU!!!!!!!

I think Mizzou will hold their own with a real chance of winning, but my gut tells me Georgia will pull it out in the end. I hope I am wrong!

Literally means "pulling your pants down to fart" which is a Chinese idiom for "wasted effort." Makes sense to me!

picked UCLA to win that game -- yay me

Meanwhile, David Piland throws for 580 yards, 4 TDs, 0 INTs, and Houston loses to their 2nd WAC team in consecutive weeks 56-49 to La Tech. Lulz
