That flushing sound you’re hearing is the Packers Super Bowl hopes swirling right down the toilet.

The Steelers have had a few of those already. Next man up.

Alvin Kamara was placed on the covid list today, so he’s in jeopardy of missing both this week’s and next week’s games.

The entire roster of the Saints RB's are gone for tomorrow because of close contact. Ty Montgomery has been switched back to RB and somoni from the practice squad was called up.

Steelers placed TE Eric Ebron on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

He'll be joined by CB Joe Haden and LB Cassius Marsh. ESPN's Dan Graziano reports Haden was a positive and the other two were deemed high-risk close contacts.

              Next man up.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Doug Marrone is "likely out" as the Jaguars head coach on Monday and that former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer could be the replacement.

can Urban Meyer get inside the Florida border without getting arrested?

they call him "Urban Liar" in the Sunshine State for a reason....

Madness. By Jax, for even considering a coach with his health issues. And Meyer, for allowing his ego to - once again - overcome common sense.

I doubt Rappaport is wrong - that doesn’t happen often - but sure hope he is this time. Or Meyer’s family stages an intervention.

if Urban Meyer told me it was going to be a beautiful day - I'd bring my umbrella.

he makes Nick Saban - who drew a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty last night for his drooling/ranting about something with less than 5 minutes to go with a 31-7 Alabama lead - seem like an embodiment of the work/life balance ideal.

                      it works both ways here.

if he actually has all the medical conditions he claims (most of which have gone public at awfully convenient times), then he's a bad hire.

if he made any or all of them up, then he is a risk to jump ship - again - at the slightest sign of turbulence, then he's a bad hire.

Perhaps Urban Meyer wants to create a path for one of his assistant coaches to get a future head coach or coordinator opportunity in the NFL. Perhaps a family member. Meyer's son Nate has been reported to have coaching aspirations.

The Jags excel at bad hires, so this would be nothing new.
