Forget .400 - can my team hit under .200?

currently at .1960 in 495 AB and 553 PA, or about a full season's worth for one player.

leading offenders, in order of drafting:

that's 27 for 203, a tidy combined .133 clip - and the rest of the squad is only hitting .240

Duvall (.281) and Kendrick (.273) are the only ones above .250

Not quite as bad in my leagues but still quite bad. Team leading in BA in 1 league is at .255. 3rd place is 243. Last place is .216. I'm at .226, 9th out of 11 teams. In the other league, I'm at .253 which is 6th out of 20 teams. Worst team is .211. 1st place is .274 but 3rd place is only .255.

We do OBP. I am in 3rd in my AL only at .333 and 4th in my NL only at .3256.

I'm getting done in by the same "regression to the mean" forces that will take down Blackmon's bid for .400.

I hit .400 today - 10 for 25 - and with a few other good days am now up to .2110 (and 2 pts in AVG!).

no way I can get back under now, but will post if I ever do.....

update: got nuclear hot for weeks, climbing to nearly .250 and claiming 6th in AVG.

then - it got ugly again.

a 1 for 36 (!) yesterday will lock me into last place after all, at .2317 for the season
