  • RJ's Greatest Black and White Movie Draft...

    Anyone want to play.

I think rounds might be based on how many want to play. Once signed up we can figure it out.

My first thought was no categories just grab your favs while you can.

You get the honor of owning that movie before someone else beats you to it.

I would think at the end we would have a pretty good list of the very best. We might even get ideas for our own movie night.

Of course I am open to suggestions as I just want this to be fun.

I was only kidding about scoring, but it would be funny at some point to have one of these non-sports drafts with an added statistical component. Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammy's (sound track), wins / nominations get you different points - separate it out by director, actors, actresses, etc. That would be a trip.

We used to vote at the conclusion of these and it turned into absurdity, with one guy getting his wife to cast a tiebreaking vote.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

But there's no doubt I cleaned up in the TV draft.

              If there's interest I'll play although I honestly can't recall the last B&W movie I watched...probably Roma.

You had a monster TV draft! Getting the Silver Medal is high praise. I had to work very hard to beat you by a nose.

60s/70s/80s/90s is my sweet spot for movies, so I wouldn't be of much use here.

Meh list for me. I watched none of your 1980's picks. Only 11 out of your list are shows that I watched. A few others that I think are good, but never watched.
