  • Official Week 13 Thread: End of the Fantasy Season Edition

The Eli Manning era may be coming to a close, as they have benched him in favor of Geno Smith for Sunday’s game.

  • #2
yes, Geno will start Sunday and Eli will be No. 2, McAdoo said.
he added that Webb would play "at some point." seems apparent Eli will not start another game.

McAdoo implied that Geno's better mobility - behind a bad OL and replacement-level WRs - gave the Giants a better shot. it's almost plausible.

the prevailing sentiment on WFAN sports talk radio here was Eli to reunite with Coughlin in Jacksonville, which just happens to be one of the Giants home games next season. a 50-0 Jaguars win was sought by one caller.

Giants have home games left vs Eagles, Cowboys, Redskins

CBS announcers are claiming he gets whacked tomorrow, to dampen the ugly mood in the Meadowlands for those games

I expect the game vs Eagles to have as many Eagles fans as Giants

Josh Gordon with 4 receptions for 85 yards in his first game since 2014! And he did it against a defense that hasn't allowed 100 yards to a receiver all year! Did i mention that it was his first game in three years? This guy makes it look so easy. Hope you added him in time for the playoffs.

I have him as a $7 keeper next season. I think he just made me look good!

My opponent had 3 players score season high point totals this week! That's why FF blows! If it was the playoffs, boom I'm gone.

I still do have a chance to win if AC and AB go off (If AB even plays)

NY Giants fired offensive whiz kid (head coach) Ben McAdoo and their GM Jerry Reese today. 2-10. Couldn't happen to a nicer franchise.

Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

Assuming that he'll be well behaved in the offseason...a big assumption.

I just flipped off this Steelers-Bengals game with 4 minutes left and at 20-20.

if I want to watch carnage, I'll try WWE - at least there, most of it is fake.

I have watched my last game between these two classless franchises unless they address the nonsense at the ownership level in a serious way.

I appreciate Big Ben having said before the game that vs the Ravens it's physical but respectful - but against the Bengals, he worries about people getting hurt. also Gruden on the Steelers vicious cheap shot/taunting combo and saying, "what does it take to get kicked out of a game?"

I was almost ready to exit, but then Antonio Brown gets cheap-shotted in the end zone and miraculously seems ok. for me, it still was too much.

The Steelers have gone from one of the respected franchises to, like you said, classless. Tomlin is a horrible disciplinarian.
