  • J-Kidd's failed power play

I thought Kidd ultimately did a really nice job last year, but I appreciate Prokhorov's refusal to bow to his power play. It will be interesting to see how this ultimately plays out for both Kidd and the Nets. I can't imagine a move to Milwaukee without being given the Coach/GM role will be good for his resume, although some of it would depend on whether he (and Jabari Parker) can turn the Bucks around.

Kidd has been getting coaches fired and looking out only for himself (off the court) since college 20 yrs ago. he's got a checkered history and a bloated ego. Nets will be better off without him, frank-ly.

What you say. Kidd wanted out of his situation. He is now in Wisconsin. Perfect.

In his defense, Kidd does seem to understand player capabilities better than most. If he really disliked the draft, he may have tried to force the issue. We know he does not get along well with his owner. He also has a long history of bad break ups from his player days.

Kansas doesn't have an NBA team. Oklahoma has a good one. My options were limited.
