I own a 04 Saab 9-3 and am close to 100K miles. Outside of getting my oil changed every 5,000 miles or so I have not done any of the suggested 30K mile checkups etc. I, of course, have had it fixed when a window breaks or some kind of electrical issue. Should I be doing something more now that I am hitting the 100k benchmark? I personally do not not want to spend a ton as I am sure I am not keeping it for another 100K miles, but I do want to continue to drive it for a few more years.

Probably should change your belts. I do not know about Saabs, but I do know that if you break a serpentine belt going 60 bad things can happen. -
