  • 2011 Official RJ Weight Loss Challenge: Mar 31 Weigh-In

The contest ends in 4 days so we'll do our final weigh-ins then. Feel free to weigh in tomorrow if you like. I just got back from a hockey tournament weekend. Lots of food and drink outside of the 4 games in 40 hours so I'll see what the damage is tomorrow. I was 244 all last week but I hit 239 a month ago and will be there again soon. Today's grocery run was chicken, beef, salad fixin's and frozen veggies for stir fry.

I hit my 210 goal but could have done much better if I were better motivated. 190 by the All Star break hopefully.

To go from 216 to 212 has been a miracle. I normally gain weight like crazy during my unemployed winter months.

I should note, however, that nearly 100% of my progress has been due to quitting drinking rather than diet or exercise. I start work in a couple of days, so it's encouraging to think of how much weight I could be losing given several hours of exercise daily.

Hoping for 190 by the all-star break. Seems very doable.

Congrats to those that stuck with it.
Larry David was once being heckled, long before any success. Heckler says "I'm taking my dog over to fuck your mother, weekly." Larry responds "I hate to tell you this, but your dog isn't liking it."
