Holy crap - any of you see the end to that St Johns - Rutgers game? Worst ref EVER.

I'm sure it's all over the sports news there - happened to catch it here by fluke. Rutgers down two, heave the ball downfield, John's get the ball but the John's player a) steps out of bounds and b) heaves the ball into the crowd... with 1.5 seconds left!!! The officials do nothing but call the game over.

Worse than just that.

Rutgers ball with about 14 left, player drives and gets hacked... no call. I can see this one getting by as the refs don't want to decide the game... let's move on.
St John's player gets fouled and has a one-and-one. Misses the front end and the Rutgers player has clearly boxed out for the rebound and the St. John's player goes over-the-back knocking the rebounder off and the rebounder blunders the ball out of bounds... NO CALL! This one was pretty blatant.
St John's gets fouled after they bring the ball in. Players misses the first and as he's about to shoot the second, Steve Lavin causes some ruckus along the sideline (that is if you consider 5 feet onto the court as the sideline) ... ignored by the refs, and then after Rutgers turns the ball over, St John's travels, then steps out of bounds then heaves the ball into the stands... with 1.7 seconds left.

This was truly terrible terrible work by the officials at the end of this game. Mike Rice (Rutgers coach) should be blasting the officials and the league.
