Andy Griffith passes on at 86.

This was reported in the death pool, but I think he deserves his own thread.

Thank you Andy for all of the wonderful hours of tv you provided. I think you had the best overall television show of all time.

Seemed like a true gentleman.

Man i would have guessed he was older than that. He's been around for ages...

Matlock has participated in his last case. You were awesome Andy.

Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?
