    Charlie Sheen...

    Sheen definitely has his share of problems, but i heard him called anti-semitic for criticizing his boss, Chuck Lorre.

    Since when is criticizing one person equated with hating the entire race?

    That's bullsh!t.

    Well, he referred to Lorre as Charles Levine, which seems to emphasize the fact that Lorre is Jewish.

        Actually, he referred to his boss as 'chime' Lorre - sorry if the spelling is incorrect but 'chime' translates to charles in english.

                Chuck Lorre's birth name is actually Chaim Levine -- no wonder he changed it. Does that make me an anti-dentite?

                  He was equating the terrible things he was saying about his producer (and I believe creator of the show; I don't watch it so I don't know for sure) with Levine/Lorre's ethnic origin. If he wanted to say Lorre was a rotten person, fine; but bringing his ethnicity into it made it an ethnic attack. And when you make an ethnic attack against someone who is Jewish, guess what? It's anti-Semitic.

                  Imagine the outrage from his father, well-known for being easily outraged, if someone said that Ramon Estevez is a prick because he's Hispanic. (I don't think "Martin" is a prick, but sometimes a jerk; also a terrific actor)

                  Charlie is clearly an a**hole who needs more than another celebrity rehab stint or eighty to become anything more than a useless POS. It's a good thing his kids are very young, because if they were any older, they'd die of shame at what a jerk, addict, and scumbag they have as a father.

                    Wow, Sheen goes off on a retreat with porn stars and LENNY DYKSTRA and starts in on insane rants about being an F-18 and having fire breathing fists. Somehow you want to talk about the fact that he called his producer by his Hebrew name? There are so many interesting facets to this story. I'm amazed that you guys want to focus on that.

                      My impression was that he was claiming the guy is a fraud, and noting that he changed his name was part of that. He also wondered if calling him "Carlos Estevez" would mean the person calling him that was anti-Hispanic.

                      Now, does it make sense to call a guy a fraud for changing his name if you've done it yourself? Not really. But the guy's not sane anyway...

                            I think Dykstra is the X-factor here. His buddy Darren Daulton went off the rails & now he's running with Sheen.

                              His demeanor reminds me of Brian Wilson (the pitcher), but with Wilson you know he's goofing around but here it seems sadly real. I also think he's on drugs during that interview.
