I was having lunch with one of our league members. The conversation turned to the Occupied Movement. Something in the conversation reminded me of Alice's Restaurant. He had not heard of it before. In looking it up to send it to him I got to wondering how many of you may have not heard it before? It is a bit long 18.5 minutes. I hope some of you will listen to it and enjoy it.

For years it was a Thanksgiving morning tradition for New York rock station WNEW-FM to play the full "Alice's Restaurant". I would make a point to listen to the whole thing. Vin Scelsa was the DJ I believe.One martini, two martini, three martini, floor.Comment

Have a nice glass of wine first, remove all family members from the premises (as if), and just slowly inhale the uniquely American mood.
I guess some far-left liberals see it as "us vs them," but I don't get that political vibe.
Could any Tea Party members buy in to this song, even a little bit?
