Well, I'm not thrilled with my progress, but the last 4 weeks have gone 220, 218.5, 217, and today 216. So I can't be too upset.

I'm starting work within the next week or so. That should help a lot. As mentioned in another thread, I used to negate my weight loss with excess calories from drinking, but recently quit. Several years ago, before I started drinking, I would typically lose 20-40 lbs from a summer of work. Looking forward to it.

            I hear ya.

265 this week. It would be nice to be able to get outside, but the 14 inches of snow we got yesterday and today aren't helping. Doesn't look like I'll make my goal by Opening Day, but I will state another for the All-Star break.

i have epiphanies like that all the time. for example i was watching a basketball game today and realized pom poms are like a pair of tits. there's 2 of them. they're round. they shake. women play with them. thus instead of having two, cheerleaders have four boobs.

I was at 242 yesterday. 2 pounds until I hit my goal. I am going to keep my All Star goal at 220 because I've learned this year that modest success is better than failure.

I never thought I could cut carbs out of dinner but most nights I do. As a result I don't feel bogged down. I've noticed my pants are looser, including some that I wouldn't wear in December. I'm really glad I was finally able to make the right changes and stick with them.
